The techno producer has rescheduled cancelled gigs and added a few extras for this November.
Cosmin TRG will hit the US in November, after cancelling a handful of gigs back in June.
Berlin-based Romanian producer Cosmin Nicolae was originally set to play three gigs stateside back in the summer, but visa issues meant he was forced to cancel. Now he's making up for it by returning to those three cities—Boston, Pittsburgh and New York—and throwing in a few extras to make it count.
Most significantly, he's added a trip to the West Coast, where his tour will start on Halloween. First he'll play a Futra party in Los Angeles, and then the next evening he'll headline As You Like It's Freaky Friday show alongside Maya Jane Coles in San Francisco. After a week's break he'll head to the other side of the country, traveling through Detroit, Chicago (with Matador), Boston and PIttsburgh (which is a VIA Festival-associated event). His jaunt will come to a close on November 16th in New York at Output for a Resolute party headlined by Alexi Delano, where Nicolae will also share the spotlight with Heartthrob.
The ever-evolving producer has been having a pretty good year so far. He released a well-received second album of straight-up techno for 50 Weapons, Gordian, and he's been touring off the back of it all year. Check out his recent XLR8R podcast for a preview of his skills behind the decks.
Tickets for the LA, San Francisco and New York gigs are available on RA.
