  • Arturia has unveiled its latest synth offering, the MicroBrute. It's based on the respected French manufacturer's larger MiniBrute, but as the name implies, it brings some of its features and sound into a smaller package. The MicroBrute holds the basics of synthesis—oscillator, filter, LFO and envelope—and a two-octave keyboard, but it's also got some features you'd expect from larger synths. There's a modulation matrix for custom routing, a step sequencer, MIDI connectivity via classic five-pin cable or USB and CV/gate I/O. Shipments begin next month. In the meantime, get a feel for it in Arturia's video introduction to the synth.
Arturia will begin shipping the MicroBrute on November 1st, 2013 for a suggested retail price of 329 Euro and $349.
