Pittsburgh's Obvious Productions will throw a special Not Your Average PTA party November 29th.
The Rust Belt city's dance music scene has been on the rise lately. Not only do they have an internationally-known music festival in VIA, but they've also got hometown heroes Pittsburgh Track Authority, a trio of locals who have appeared on Uzuri, Work Them and their own Pittsburgh Tracks label in recent years.
The gig they're playing at Belvedere's on the 29th won't feature the groovy deep house they've become known for. Instead, one member—sometimes RA contributor Thomas Cox—will play a set of 2-step garage, while the other two, Adam Ratana and Preslav Lefterov, will adopt their Sight Unseen alias for a rare jungle set. They'll be backed up by Obvious man Tenova.
