- Rinse's pop star will return with her second album in February 2014.
Katy B will release her second album, Little Red, in February 2014 through Rinse and Columbia.
It arrives two years on from her debut LP, On A Mission, which won her legions of fans and achieved chart success in the UK and Europe. It's crammed full of collaborations: George FitzGerald, Jacques Greene, Joker, Route 94 and Artwork all feature as producers, while Jessie Ware and Sampha appear as guest vocalists.
"That first album had a certain innocence about it," says Katy. "I think this album has a bit more experience. My relationships have got more serious, I've moved out of my parents' house, I'm dealing with issues on my own. My friends are all going through that transition as well—those questions you ask of yourself as an adult."
The album aims to traverse a wider emotional range than On A Mission, too: "I can listen to it and cry on a good four songs, but I still want something to dance to." For an idea of how Little Red will sound, check out "Crying For No Reason" on SoundCloud.
