Paul Kalkbrenner and Solomun are among others billed for the Miami weekender next March.
Ultra Music Festival has released the first phase of its 2014 lineup.
One of the biggest dance music events in the US for over a decade now (and usually taking place at the tail end of Winter Music Conference in Miami), Ultra is scaling back after this year's stage collapse. For 2014 it will take place over a single weekend, from March 28th through the 30th, instead of two. The DJ lineup so far is a mix of mainstream EDM heavy-hitters like Tiesto, Avicii and David Guetta, and some of the mainstays of Ibiza's 2013 summer season like Diynamic man Solomun, Loco Dice, Cadenza boss Luciano, Jamie Jones, Music On's Marco Carola and Carl Cox, who will host his own arena stage for the tenth year in a row.
The live acts, meanwhile, are more diverse than ever. Among the highlights are M.I.A., Dizzee Rascal, French producer Gesaffelstein, Kanye West-associated rapper Pusha T, Basement Jaxx, Australian disco-rockers Cut Copy, Trentemoller and Paul Kalkbrenner. In terms of non-headlining acts announced, you've got Cajmere, Claude VonStroke, Lee Foss), Pete Tong, Tale Of Us and plenty of others.
Continuing its campaign of international expansion, Ultra has also announced it will add Japan and South Africa to its destinations for 2014.
