STEP, a new label from Catz 'N Dogz, will launch this month .
Though Polish duo Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Tarañczuk already oversee one label—Pets Recordings—their Step venture (which is "Pets" spelled backwards) will maintain a back-to-basics approach. The focus will be groovy house and techno that "isn't afraid to be rough around the edges." First up is the 20 Salmons Down EP by UK producer A1 Bassline, whose past productions have spanned everything from electro house to breakbeat and techno.
