The new Berlin label has been set up to explore the "sound of uneasy futurism."
Seppüku Records will launch on January 6th with a four-track release from debutant Berlin producer Acharné.
Run out of the German capital, the imprint will be techno leaning, conjuring up images of "broken memetics, parallel lives, lost rituals from dead and imagined cities," according to a press release. The Doubt EP moves from the more sprightly dance floor grooves of "Warm Crisco" through to the eerie, beatless soundscapes of "Undoing."
