The Danish band will self-release their next album in March.
WhoMadeWho will release their fifth album, Dreams, on March 4th.
The Copenhagen trio of Tomas Barfod, Tomas Hoffding and Jeppe Kjellberg have been making accessible, catchy electro pop since the mid-'00s, appearing on labels like Gomma and Kompakt. Their next record will be self-released, with the band describing it as the sound of the band getting serious. "We'd been touring for a number of years [and] it seemed like it started to become a loop and something we don't want to do is just do the same thing over and over again," Kjellberg says. "Now we spend more time on the album process—making the songs, working on the songwriting, recording the vocals properly, doing it all over and over again."
