  • Uncanny Valley will release its first full-length compilation on March 28th. Celebrating the Dresden imprint's 20th release, Uncanny Valley 20 harks back to the label's first few releases, which were all various artists collections showcasing its diverse roster of then-unknowns. Since then, the likes of Credit 00, Break SL, Cuthead and Jacob Korn have risen in the ranks of the German house scene with an off-kilter and fiercely local take on deep house. (We were fans early on in the label's lifetime.) Since the launch in 2010, they've expanded their operations to include two subsidiaries: Shtum for the more techno-oriented releases, and just announced last week, Rat Life for "dirty raw dance music." The compilation rounds up a number of Uncanny Valley regulars alongside newcomers Filburt and an unlikely appearance from German psytrance group Optokoppler, according to Juno Plus. There's also a collaboration between Jacob Korn and Cuthead called Kornhead, a project they debuted on a Permanent Vacation release back in 2011. The vinyl version will come split across three various artists EPs (just like those first releases), while the CD version will hold all 12 tracks in one place. Tracklist 01. RVDS & K’Alexi Shelby – Art of the Track 02. Credit 00 – Obsessed 03. Optokoppler – Function (Sneaker’s ‘My Puss’ 7er remodel) 04. CV30X – 2×4 05. Jacob Korn – Der Don 06.
