- The Oak Hill record shop will host a free event later this month.
Dope Jams duo Slow To Speak will throw a free Valentine's Day Ball at their Oak Hill, New York shop on Saturday, February 22nd.
Originally the party was to take place on the 15th, to more closely coincide with the holiday, but Slow To Speak, AKA Paul Nickerson and Francis Englehardt, have been booked for a couple gigs in the UK around then, so they've moved their own event back to the 22nd. The occasion is also billed as "Winter BBQ," and it'll mark the return of the duo's longtime monthly event series LIFE. It'll run from 3 PM to 9 PM, with Nickerson and Englehardt handling the decks throughout.
