Awakenings Festival expands to two days in 2014

- Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke and Speedy J are all on the Dutch outdoor events's techno-heavy bill.
- The 2014 Awakenings Festival will take place on June 28th and 29th at Spaarnwoude near Amsterdam. The festival will be held over two days for the first time in Awakenings' 14 year history. In total more than 100 acts will perform across eight different stages. In keeping with previous instalments, the lineup comprises the great and good of the techno world. Awakenings regulars Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Speedy J (who will also play as Zeitgeber with Lucy), Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann, DJ Rush, Marco Carola, Dave Clarke and Jeff Mills will all return, while the likes of Perc & Truss, Marcel Fengler and DVS1 keep things fresh. A decent smattering of house artists, including Henrik Schwarz, Midland, Huxley, Breach and Skream, will offer a milder alternative. Many of the artists will play on both days, though a few are only booked for one. Both days start at midday and end at 11 PM.
