- Boiler Room programmer Nic Tasker will head up the new sublabel.
Young Turks have announced a new sublabel called Whities.
The offshoot will be run by Nic Tasker, a regular DJ on NTS Radio and music programmer for Boiler Room. The first 12-inch will come from unheralded production duo Terron. Though the tracklist is yet to be announced, WHYT001 will be released in a vinyl run of 300, with high-end packaging. Judging by the sound of "No 3 Proportion," which is streaming on YouTube and also featured in a recent Young Turks label special on Benji B's BBC Radio One show, the new imprint will kick off with upfront, club-ready sounds.
Whities will release WHYT001 on February 17th, 2014.
