- Morphosis's label will follow up its recent vinyl releases with a two-disc compilation in March.
Details of the Charles Cohen A Retrospective double-CD on Morphine Records have been revealed.
The release follows a series of vinyl reissues that shone the spotlight on the early sonic experiments of Cohen, an unassuming producer based in Philadelphia who is now in his late 60s. The interest in those records led to him being booked to perform live at this month's CTM festival in Berlin—the first time he's played solo in Europe. A Retrospective features 22 tracks, 20 of which featured on the vinyl releases, with two extras thrown in. For some further insight into Cohen, check Jordan Rothlein's recent feature on the producer.
