RA returns to SXSW with Shlohmo and Machinedrum

- Our official 2014 showcase will also feature Jessy Lanza, Jacques Greene, DJ Spinn, DJ Rashad, Lee Bannon, SETH and Rabit.
- Resident Advisor will host an official SXSW showcase in Austin, Texas, on March 13th. This will be the second time we've hit Texas for the annual festival. And like last year, the venue will be Elysium in Red River. The lineup features plenty of artists who released standout albums in 2013: Jessy Lanza (who we also featured in our Breaking Through series), DJ Rashad, who will play back-to-back with fellow footwork don DJ Spinn, and Machinedrum, who will perform his Vapor City live show. They will be joined by Friends Of Friends artist Shlohmo, Montreal favourite Jacques Greene, jungle experimentalist Lee Bannon (who was profiled by Andrew Ryce earlier this year) , SETH (Gobby's collaboration with vocalist James K) and emerging Houston grime artist Rabit. The party begins at 8 PM and runs through until 2 AM. It will be open to anyone with SXSW accreditation, music festival wristband or artist wristband. There will also be some tickets available on the door.
