  • Allen & Heath has released details of its next mixer, the Xone:23C. If you saw our news from earlier this year about the Xone:23, then the Xone:23C should look pretty familiar. It has two stereo channels controlling four inputs (all of which can be routed in simultaneously), with three-band EQ on each and the sort of voltage control filter Xone mixes are known for. What's new in this otherwise analog mixer are some digital bits, namely a 96-kHz/24-bit internal sound card boasting four stereo channels. This allows the mixer to work for digital DJs as it would for those using turntables or CD players. Via Allen & Heath's X:LINK system, you can add Xone controllers to the mixer setup. The mixer comes bundled with Mixvibes Cross LE digital mixing software. Have a look at the new mixer in the launch video below.
Allen & Heath will release the Xone:23C in June 2014 for a suggested retail price of £349.
