- Regis and Silent Servant's project will put out a six-track record through Veronica Vasicka's label in April.
Sandra Electronics will release a six-track EP called Want Need on Minimal Wave next month.
Though it was originally a Regis solo project, Sandra Electronics is now the duo of Regis and Silent Servant. Together the pair have explored darker electronics and coldwave, making for a neat match with Veronica Vasicka's label. Last year Minimal Wave released a Sandra Electronics 7-inch, which featured recordings made before Silent Servant came into the fold. Three of the tracks on Want Need are re-edited and re-mastered versions from a 2010 EP for Downwards Records, while the rest of the EP consists of live and demo cuts.
For a taste of Sandra Electronics, watch the below video of the duo playing a Nuit Noire gig in LA. You can also hear one of the EP's tracks (the demo version of "Protection Now!") in Vasicka's recent mix for London boutique LN-CC. Want Need will be pressed onto heavyweight 180gm vinyl, with a sleeve photograph of Egyptian belly dancer Samia Gamal.
