  • Native Instruments has introduced a new DJ-oriented audio interface, the Traktor Audio 2. They're calling it "the world's smallest premium DJ audio interface," and it's indeed quite tiny: the company's promotional video, embedded below, shows it's got the dimensions of a passport and can fit in the front pocket of a pair of jeans. It's made to work seamlessly with NI's iOS app Traktor DJ, with plug-and-play functionality on iPhones and iPads—though it'll also work fine with laptops. Audio 2 has outputs for headphone monitoring and to plug into DJ mixers, and will deliver digital audio at up to 24-bit/48-kHz resolution. The company has already made the interface available through its own online shop and other music equipment retailers.
Native Instruments has released Traktor Audio 2 for a suggested retail price of $99.
