Pharmakon and Regis will guest at the seminal metal band's shows in April.
Godflesh will tour the US in April.
The legendary metal band is probably best known for being Justin Broadrick's pet project after he left grindcore progenitors Napalm Death in 1987. With important records like Streetcleaner, Godflesh and their electronically-embellished, industrial-influenced sound had quite an impact on the wave of similar bands that surfaced in the '90s, and they recorded albums right through to the early 2000s. In recent years, surrounding other Broadrick projects like Jesu and Greymachine, the band has reformed, releasing a live album and a special one-sided 12-inch in 2013.
Now the UK heavyweights will head to American shores for a major tour, and for almost all the dates they'll be joined by noise music pioneer William Bennett under his Cut Hands alias. The stateside journey will begin on April 10th in New York, and for that show, as well as gigs in Philadelphia and Boston, they'll also be joined by American noise head Pharmakon. Bennett and Godflesh will then hit Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and LA, before heading into the South for one date in Austin with British techno legend Regis, and then wrapping up the tour on the 25th in Miami. House Of Low Culture, a new project from ISIS lead singer Aaron Turner, will also provide support at a few of the gigs.
