The Barcelona festival has finalised its lineup for this year.
Sónar has completed the lineup for its 2014 festival in Barcelona.
Around 40 acts have been added to the bill, including pianist Nils Frahm, whose Spaces LP clocked in at number 11 in RA's best albums of 2013 poll. He'll be joined by Caribou's Dan Snaith, playing as Daphni, and Simian Mobile Disco, who will perform their new Whorl show. Red Bull Music Academy have added more names to their SonarDôme stage, including Chris & Cosey, Buraka Som Sistema, Tokimonsta, Debruit & Alsarah and Octo Octa, while a host of local talent has also been added to the bill, such as Hivern Disc affiliate Kresy.
Organisers also revealed that Sónar By Day will run until 11 PM for the first time, with Richie Hawtin set to perform his new Objekt live show on June 12th. Hawtin is one of many previously announced names—others include James Holden, Massive Attack, Chic, Röyksopp, Flux Pavilion and Rudimental—who will perform at the Barcelona festival in 2014. The festival kicks off on June 12th and runs through until the 14th.
