- The German will present his laser show in Genoa this weekend.
Robert Henke will perform his only solo Italian date of 2014 at Electropark on Saturday, April 5th.
Run by cultural and musical association Forevergreen.fm, the avant-garde event series opened for the new season last month with a free, two-day party. For the first of several high-profile summer shows, run in conjunction with the Goethe Institut and the University of Genoa, Monolake's Henke will present his laser-based Lumie`re show at Genoa's Teatro Della Tosse this weekend. Supporting him on the night will be local trio A. Arcidiacono , E. Pozzolini and L.Serra, whose audio-visual performance Fulgurite Silica aims to "analyse the dialectic between the concrete and the abstract." Doors will run from 9:30 PM through 12:30 AM.
On the evening of Friday, April 4th, Henke will host a free workshop called "Lumière: Tools and Techniques," presenting a behind-the-scenes look at how the show is put together. Taking place at 6:30 PM at the Customs Hall at Palazzo Ducale, the workshop will run for approximately 60-75 minutes.
