Catz 'N Dogz are at the helm of Friends Will Carry You Home III, the latest compilation on their own Pets Recordings.
The series has been running since 2011 and serves to shore up the sound of the label, with cuts drawn from the Pets roster and extended family. The tracks, compiled with the Polish duo of Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Tarañczuk, have traditionally filtered out through vinyl and digital releases. Friends Will Carry You Home III, though, will try something different: in addition to a three-vinyl box set and digital EPs, it'll also be available on what's described as a bone-shaped USB stick. The likes of Jay Shepheard, Axel Boman, Rachel Row, Tom Demac and Catz Eats Dogz (the group's collaboration with Eats Everything) all feature on the compilation, which hits stores in May.
