  • Moon B has released a second album on People's Potential Unlimited. Atlanta's Wes Gray made his debut proper as Moon B in 2012 on People's Potential Unlimited, a DC label that usually focuses on obscure dance reissues from the '70s and '80s. Gray's brand of old-school analogue funk happened to fit right in on the label, however, and Untitled was successful enough to get a repress and also earn Gray a 2013 EP release on burgeoning UK label Going Good. Since then he's dropped a 12-inch on Nous under the name Vaib-R and a Moon B cassette on PPU, and now he's coming back to the latter with II, the official follow-up to that 2012 debut. The album comprises eight tracks recorded at Gray's home studio over the past few years, according to the label, and "Moon B's signature slank rhythms and cutting basslines you've grown accustomed to are all here." You can stream clips of the record below.
