  • Mister Saturday Night, AKA Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter, have announced May 25th as the date for their first outdoor Mister Sunday party of the year. The series will happen at a new Brooklyn venue, following previous seasons at Gowanus Grove. Here's what Harkin and Carter have to say about the space: "It's a courtyard between two beautiful buildings in Industry City, a complex of old warehouses at the foot of Sunset Park in Brooklyn." (Exact location details are posted on the event page.) Among other things, it features a dance floor more than twice as big as the one at Gowanus Grove. The party's hours of 5 to 10 PM are a little later than before. Otherwise, it should be business as usual for Mister Sunday, which will be open to all ages and dog-friendly, and feature locally sourced food and drink. Harkin and Carter will handle the evening's music. A few other gigs for the duo are coming up ahead of next Sunday's outdoor opening. This Saturday, they're billed for an all-night set in Washington DC for Forward Festival, and next Saturday has them back in New York and playing a sold-out, secretly located RBMA Festival event. Tickets to Mister Sunday are available here on RA.
