- The vintage-leaning Melbourne duo's second album is due out on Felte next month.
Gold Nights, the second album from White Hex, lands on Felte in June.
The Melbourne-based duo of Tara Green and Jimi Kritzler put out their first album, Heat, back in 2012. And according to the label, Gold Nights is a continuation of the themes they began exploring on the first record. (A planned third album will wrap up the trilogy.) Sound-wise, the LP fuses a number of slinky vintage sounds—"Italo disco, minimalist techno and the more primitive end of 1980s German underground," as the label puts it, making them contemporaries of HTRK and the Italians Do It Better stable. You can get a sense for it on the first single from the album, "Paradise," which we've embedded below.Tracklist
01. Only A Game
02. Paradise
03. Sisters
04. Gold
05. In The Night
06. United Colours Of KL
07. Burberry Congo
08. Battleground
Felte will release Gold Nights on June 24th, 2014.
