  • Shackleton's visit to the US has been cancelled, with American authorities denying the Berlin-based producer's visa application. He was due to play a Bunker party at The Wick in New York on Friday, May 30th, and had also been billed for this year's Movement Festival in Detroit. The Bunker's Bryan Kasenic posted a statement: "It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce that Shackleton has been forced to cancel his entire U.S. tour at the last minute due to a work permit denial." Shackleton's former Skull Disco partner Appleblim has been booked to fill the slot at the party, which also features Magic Mountain High, Kangding Ray and Løt.te. Shackleton himself also released a statement: "I can only express how disappointed I am on behalf of all the people who have made efforts on my behalf," he says. "Please be assured that Surefire Agency and myself have made every effort to make a successful application and that we are really disappointed not only for ourselves but also, and even more so, for the promoters who have planned events for me and for the people who had possibly been planning to attend the shows."
