The UK duo will provide the first release on their new label, which launches in July.
Dusky are starting a new label called 17 Steps, with the debut release landing in July.
Since arriving on the scene with a series of EPs and an album on Anjunadeep, Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell have showcased their brand of melodic deep house on labels like Aus Music and Naked Naked.
"Over the last few years our identity as artists has continued to grow and crystallise into something we never envisaged possible," Harriman and Granger-Howell say. "The introduction of 17 Steps feels like a natural phase in our development, and a logical move that enables us to take more control of our musical identity and provide a platform for music by other artists that we believe in."
The first release, Love Taking Over, comes from Dusky themselves. The duo say they'll use 17 Steps to release their own productions as well as records from other artists. Get a peek at the first record over at the 17 Steps website.
