H.O.S.H. and DJ Tennis will also play the new day-and-night event at Copper Mountain, an hour outside Denver, in mid-July.
Denver's AfterHours Anonymous crew will take a trip outside the city to host the Altitude Anonymous Festival the weekend of July 12th.
AA have kept quite busy throwing parties around Denver since re-appearing on the scene at the end of 2011, and this one is something they've been working on for two years. Described as a "new mountain festival experience," it'll happen about an hour west of the city at the Copper Mountain resort. The music will be split between an outdoor stage during the day and an enclosed-tent nighttime stage, and will run for 14 hours straight starting at noon on Saturday the 12th, courtesy of a combination of international and local talent. Flying into Colorado for the occasion are All Day I Dream man Lee Burridge, German DJ and Diynamic Music fixture H.O.S.H. and Life and Death label head DJ Tennis. The local side of the lineup is still TBA.
Lodging close to the site will be available at special rates, and on Sunday the 13th, from 11 AM to 4 PM, a limited-entry closing party will take place on top of the mountain. (A chairlift ride will be necessary to get up there.) Further details will be revealed in the coming weeks. For now, tickets to the festival itself are available here on RA.
