- Werkdiscs and Ninja Tune will co-release the rising producer's debut album.
Moiré will release his first LP on August 18th.
The mysterious producer—named for the visual effect from when two identical patterns are overlaid just slightly askew—first emerged at the beginning of last year with the Never Sleep EP on Werkdiscs, a spacey EP of house which RA's Angus Finlayson called "an insomniac's love letter to UK club music." He followed it up with another 12-inch later that year, this time for Rush Hour, and now he's returning to Actress' label (in collaboration with Ninja Tune) for debut album Shelter. A press release claims that it "highlights his vision in its entirety, bringing themes from his earlier productions together with newer elements to form a complete concept."
