  • Sydney-based producer Guerre will release his debut LP Ex Nihilo this week. Lavurn Lee, whose other projects include local trio Black Vanilla and his club-focused solo alias Cassius Select, made his Guerre debut in 2011 with Darker My Love, an EP on Yes Please Records. Ex Nihilo, which was produced with the help of BV bandmate and Collarbones member Marcus Whale, is "more disconnected" than his previous material which was "much more emotional, personal and sentimental," with the new album heading down a more melodically baron, rhythm-based path, influenced in part by Lee's increasing involvement in dance music over the past two years. You can watch the video for "Deatheat", the first single off the album, below.
      Tracklist:
    1. Primea 2. Premier 3. Deatheat 4. Silo 5. Tuk 6. Ribs Aut 7. Mukatse (Tunning) 8. Kone / Bone 9. Adophilia 10. Croon Yes Please / Remote Control will release Ex Nihilo on July 4th, 2014.
