  • Zouk, one of Malaysia's largest clubs, will move to a new space in January 2015. It was reported last month that the venue's sister club, Zouk in Singapore, will potentially close at the end of this year if a new three-year lease isn't granted. While the Malaysian branch's lease expires December, there are plans for the club to move from Jalan Ampang, where it has been situated since opening ten years ago, to TREC, a S$125.8m entertainment hub currently being built in central Kuala Lumpur. The development, a project of Zouk KL's executive director and co-founder Cher Ng, is due for completion in early 2015. The nightspot will comprise five clubs spanning 60,000 sq ft, including a rooftop bar overlooking the Royal Selangor Golf Club.
