Dirtybird takes their BBQ on the road

- Claude VonStroke and company have planned five daytime events across the US for later in the year.
- San Francisco's Dirtybird crew has a series of BBQ parties coming up over the next few months. Dirtybird and BBQ have always fit together pretty well: the label has been hosting BBQ-fueled dance parties since the very beginning, and earlier this year they released their first BBQ-themed compilation, right before heading to Miami during WMC. The label has now lined up events at five select cities across the country featuring Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Christian Martin and a mix of other Dirtybird favorites, including Worthy, J.Phlip, Ardalan, Justin Jay and Kill Frenzy (not to mention whatever comes off the grill). First up on the schedule is a day with Verboten in Brooklyn on Sunday, August 17th, and then on the 31st there's a Detroit BBQ hosted with Paxahau. In September, a Toronto stop on the 7th will be supported by a few local crews (Embrace, Platform and CODA), before Dirtybird heads home to San Francisco for an afternoon on Treasure Island on the 14th. For now, one more party is in the works for LA sometime in November, though details for that one are still TBA. Tickets to the Dirtybird BBQs in Brooklyn and Detroit are available on RA.
