Fabrizio Lapiana's Rome label has revealed its upcoming release plans, with artists like Mace. and Brando Lupi due to appear.
Rome techno label Attic Music has two new record series, Almost There and D.A.N.C.E., in the works.
The new projects will follow label boss Fabrizio Lapiana's Antimatter trilogy—the third record, backed by a Voices From The Lake remix, just dropped earlier this month—and again feature visual artwork from Fabio Milito. As usual for Attic Music, mostly Italian artists will be involved, with Lapiana often on hand as well.
Almost There will be a more experimental affair, and first up on that series is Mace. The Padova producer has contributed two tracks, and one of them has been remixed by Lapiana, who'll turn in a remix for each record on the series. Almost There 1 is due out later this week, and that's the artwork on the right. Russian artist Relic Radiation will be next with a record in 2015.
D.A.N.C.E. is short for Detector For Advanced Neutron Capture Experiments. It'll be a six-part, various-artists series that Lapiana describes as being focused on "the introspective side of dance music." Paris-based duo As Patria, Gravite Records head Bruno Sacco and Lapiana will appear on D.A.N.C.E. 1, due to drop in September. Brando Lupi, Fernandez Manetta, Ness, Synthek and Underjack will also contribute to the other two records that will see release before the end of the year.
For now, both new series will be vinyl-only. To get in the mood, you can try out the official video for Mace.'s "Homemade Low Confidence" below.
