  • UK distribution outlet STHoldings will cease trading at the end of July. As FACT report, the company will "aim to pay any money owned to labels in early September." The news comes just few weeks after ST had trimmed back its roster of labels to around 30, with ST's Andrew Parkinson saying: "Looking at the situation today, things have changed… the ethos is getting lost and STH and its labels are dissatisfied. Personally I do not feel that STHoldings can and should continue on its current path. I have decided to hit the reset button and for STH to return to its roots. It is time to get back to what matters… underground music." The distributor's roster has included labels like Hessle Audio, NonPlus, 3024 and Swamp 81. It was founded in 1998 and was based in Bournemouth. The company is yet to make a public statement.
