- The Shogun Audio producer will hit the Tasman for nine shows this month.
Alix Perez will begin a nine-show tour of New Zealand and Australia this weekend.
The London-based producer's year has been punctuated by his first release on Exit Records, an EP that saw Perez continuing to stretch the boundaries of drum & bass while collaborating with DJ Spinn and the late DJ Rashad. His packed touring schedule will fit all nine shows into three weekends, beginning with a set at the San Francisco Bathhouse in Wellington, NZ, on August 7th. From there he heads to Auckland restaurant Toto on the 8th, then Dux Live in Christchurch and 10Bar in Dunedin on the 9th and 10th respectively.
After crossing the Tasman, Perez will spin at Brown Alley in Melbourne on August 15th and Gilkson's Dance Studio in Perth on the 16th, where he'll be joined by Gran Calavera, C-Double and Eyes Down. Sydney will get a Wednesday night show at World Bar on the 20th, while the Adelaide gig will go down at HQ Complex on the 22nd. Brisbane's Coniston Lane is hosting the last show of the tour on August 23rd with Doefriend, Afrogalactic and Gedi.
