  • US deep house jock Jus-Ed has started a distribution service named after his label Underground Quality. It's the next move for Jus-Ed and UQ, which has been putting out records and mixtapes for around a decade now. (Among its recent releases are albums from Dana Ruh and the label boss himself.) The first label on the distributor's roster is Copenhagen Underground Posse. That new concern is run by two DJs, producers and promoters: Daniel Savi of 2400 Operator (who put out a record on UQ in 2010) and Daniel Bruhn Jensen, AKA Dee Brown, who've been using that name to throw parties in Copenhagen for a couple years. Copenhagen Underground Posse's first releases will be a three-part, various-artists series called Liderlige Rytmer, which translates from Danish to "Horny Beats." Liderlige Rytmer Del 1 af 3 will feature four tracks, coming from Supertonic, Kasper Marott (who gets remixed by Savi and Jensen), a joint production from 2400 Operator and Samuel André Madsen (another artist who's appeared on UQ), and a Savi cut remixed by Jus-Ed. It's scheduled to drop in September, and you can stream previews for it below.
Tracklist A1 Supertonic – Give It To Me (Uden Vokal) A2 Kasper Marott – Haven (Daniel og Dees Gymnastik Miks) B1 2400 Operator og Samuel Andre´ Madsen – NWS PT-2 B2 Daniel Savi – TTT (Jus-Ed Miks) Copenhagen Underground Posse will release Liderlige Rytmer Del 1 af 3 in mid-October, 2014.
