  • Detroit producer and DJ Jared Wilson will release his debut album, Ghost Miners, through his own 7777 label on August 19th. Wilson states the album draws inspiration from the literal underclass. "Ghost Miners is influenced and dedicated to all those who have worked and lived underground," Wilson told RA. "From gold miners in South Africa, copper miners in the 1800s in northern Michigan, the mole people of NYC to orphans living under Bucharest." The Midwest producer's combination of acid lines and minor-key melodicism has earned him a growing international reputation. Wilson has released music on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Dolly and Skudge Presents in addition to a string of EPs on 7777, while his track "This Love" featured on Optimo's latest mix, Dark Was The Night.
