Skream, Head High and Prosumer are among the names booked for the Bristol party's milestone series.
In:Motion has announced full details of its landmark fifth season at Motion Skate Park in Bristol.
The events series has typically covered all corners of the dance music spectrum, and 2014 looks set to be no different. Running from October 3rd through New Year's Day, the first weekend will feature Hospitality on the Friday and In:Motion's in-house opening on the Saturday (lineup still TBA). The following week, local bass outfit Apex will join forces with Will Saul's Aus imprint, hosting Skream, Appleblim and Huxley, before The Blast and Swamp 81 welcome The Streets frontman Mike Skinner, Loefah and Zed Bias, whose Main Room set will be his last-ever in Bristol.
After live performances from Caribou and Jessy Lanza at the opening of Simple Things festival on October 24th, house and techno heavyweights Just Jack return to Motion for another Halloween special on Saturday, November 1st. Âme, Mano Le Tough, Paranoid London and Delano Smith are all locked in. November 8th is a drum & bass extravaganza, as Bristol's Run teams up with Andy C's RAM Records. The lineup will be released in the coming weeks.
The remainder of November will see Defected swing by on the 15th (Duke Dumont, Shenoda); grime outfit Tropical on the 22nd (JME, Skepta); and local favourites Futureboogie on the 29th (Prosumer, Gerd Janson, Lil' Louis, Jackmaster). Only one December show has been announced so far, bringing Roni Size's Reprazent crew to the club on Saturday the 6th. More December dates, including NYE and NYD, will be released nearer the time.
