  • Marco Bernardi has opened a music hardware shop in Bristol called Elevator Sound. As well as being a noted producer on labels like Créme Organization and Planet E, Bernardi is a hardware expert, having worked at Glasgow's Sound Control music shop for 12 years. Elevator Sound is located at 74 Stokes Croft, out the back of the Idle Hands record shop. It will tie in with a club night of the same name and a record label called Take The Elevator. "I want Elevator Sound to be the local hub for all the new waves of producers in Bristol and beyond," Bernardi says. "If you are a young producer in Bristol right now thereʼs nowhere around that gives you the love you need to develop. Elevator Sound will have no staff with big egos or attitude. Instead, expect a one-to-one hands-on experience of all the latest hardware with as much help as you need. Elevator Sound will be obsessed with getting talent closer to the scene."
