Risky Vision gets local

- The LA party will feature sets from Benedek, Magic Touch and Sage Caswell next week.
- Risky Vision will host an all-local lineup on September 5th. The party, which generally takes place in the Echoplex, will move upstairs to the Echo's more intimate quarters next week. Risky Vision has hosted Kyle Hall, The Black Madonna and Kevin Saunderson at past events, but the September iteration focuses on homegrown talent. Benedek tops the bill, and he'll stage a live performance of his laidback mix of boogie funk, R&B and house. He's previously collaborated with Dâm-Funk and released his debut LP via Andrew Morgan's People's Potential Unlimited last year. His collaboration with fellow LA producer Delroy Edwards, Rx, recently dropped on the same label. Sage Caswell, who has released music on Peach (in collaboration with Cromie) and Decabaret, has been tapped to spin as have 100% Silk's Magic Touch and Far Away's Cooper Saver. The latter two will play back-to-back, with Risky Vision residents Ford Prefect and Channel One spinning the warm-up set. Check out clips from Rx's debut 45 below.
