- The Snake, inspired by the Chinese zodiac sign, will see release in November.
Brogan Bentley will drop his first album on November 11th.
The San Francisco-based artist made his debut on LA imprint Leaving Records back in 2012 with a self-titled cassette, and now he returns with The Snake, which doubles as his debut full-length release. Recorded in 2013, the year of the snake, the LP is explores the symbolism of the snake, right down to the drop date, which was chosen to "mimic the serpent through palindrome." The press release goes on to call the music "elastic, billowing and free-form," comprising R&B, footwork and other dance music styles, along with Bentley's own vocals and plenty of samples.
