- The Italian techno artist will inaugurate the imprint in January 2015.
Italian techno artist Violet Poison has announced a new label called Veleno Viola.
Veleno Viola means "violet poison" in Italian. The new label is a continuation of the now-defunct Violet Poison imprint, which was co-founded with fellow Berlin-based Italian Shapednoise in 2011. The new vinyl-only venture is a solo effort, and will see Violet Poison work with a more DIY- and post-punk-leaning aesthetic. Music-wise, rhythmic noise, dark ambient and power electronics will all be explored. The founder handles the first release, Absence Generator which drops in January.
Tracklist
