- The VIP club's owners will unveil a new venue early next year.
The owners of Provocateur will open a new dance club in the Meatpacking District.
The venue, which was approved for its spirits license in early 2013, will open early next year in the space formerly occupied by Shadow nightclub, Mixmag reports. Owners Mike Satsky and Brian Gefter purchased the 11,000-foot space two years ago, and its ongoing renovations are scheduled to be completed in February. The 1000-person venue will differ from Provocateur in that tickets will be available to the general public—and not just to VIP guests. More information will become available as the club nears completion.
