Full details of Sónar Cape Town 2014 revealed

- A sizeable local contingent has been announced ahead of this month's two-day festival.
- The full lineup for Sónar Cape Town 2014 has been confirmed. A number of South African artists have joined a solid international contingent at the festival, which runs on December 15th and 16th. Local headliners include Sibot & Toyota, Spoek Mathambo's Fantasma and Trancemicsoul, who have all played Sónar's home festival in Barcelona before. They'll be joined by the likes of Felix Laband, Terrence Pearce, Christian Tiger School, Ryan Murgatroyd and Markus Wormstorm. Organisers have chosen the historic Good Hope Centre in the heart of the city to host day and night proceedings. The festival will follow a similar format to its Spanish counterpart, with two days of interactive talks, forums and music workshops and two nights of dancing. Seed Experiences, who are responsible for some of South Africa's most beloved festivals and live shows, will be on production duties. Johannesburg will host A Taste of Sónar warm-up event ahead of the Cape Town festival on Friday, December 12th.
