DJ Funk and DJ Earl christen new Hollywood venue

- Phuture Perfect will present a night of ghetto house and footwork next week.
- DJ Funk and DJ Earl will play the Phuture Perfect party at the Lash Pop Up club on December 19th. The night is an extension of resident DJ Zøraya's show on online radio station Dublab and will focus on Midwest dance music. Next Friday's event will be headlined by Dance Mania mainstay DJ Funk, who has been making excitable, female anatomy-obsessed house since the early '90s. Joining him will be Teklife-affiliate DJ Earl. Rounding out the lineup's Chicago quotient is Grimy head Zernell, who moved to LA from the Windy City a few years ago. Derek Michael, Aura T09 and Pickpocket have also been tapped as support. The new pop-up venue inhabits a space previously filled by Hollywood spot Las Palmas. The temporary club will act as an extension of high-concept Downtown LA watering hole The Lash, and is well-suited for events that are either too large or too loud for that bar. The Lash Pop Up will be open for two months with further event announcements to come. Tickets for Phuture Perfect are available on RA.
