  • Toronto's Foundry festival is making an early return this year, with Jeff Mills headlining the first Off-Foundry party on January 24th. The Off-Foundry events will reportedly be "a specially curated series of nights outside the confines of our festival." Foundry, now in its third year, has typically taken place across several weeks in the spring, although for 2015 the festival proper has been delayed until later in the year. A four-way collaboration between Toronto crews Mansion, breakandenter, Box Of Kittens and Evening Standard, the first Off-Foundry party will happen at 99 Sudbury (last year's festival venue) with the Detroit techno titan, fresh off the DVD release of his film Man From Tomorrow. He'll be joined in the Gallery room by Gingy and the Box Of Kittens DJs, while MEMBERSONLY, Martin Fazekas and DJ Colin will helm the Glass Factory. Mills will be making another Canadian stop earlier in the month, playing a secret venue in Montreal La Bacchanale this coming Friday.
