The new weekly Sunday party will kick off this weekend at the Old Melbourne Gaol with Oliver Schories.
Piknic Electronik will begin a new weekly Sunday series in Melbourne this weekend.
The run of 12 parties is a collaboration between the expanding Montreal clubbing brand and local outfit Stable Music. The events will be held at the Old Melbourne Gaol's RMIT Alumni Courtyard in the heart of the city's CBD, a 1000-capacity outdoor space which will see a variety of house and techno artists passing through until the end of March.
Beginning at midday and ending whenever the sun sets, the first three gigs on January 11th, 18th and 25th will be headlined by Oliver Schories (who makes his Australian debut), Nico Stojan and Sasse respectively. The support bills feature hometown staples like Phil K, Uone, Mike Buhl and Matt Radovich.
Tickets to the series are available here on RA.
