- An LP from Appleblim and Second Storey's collaborative project will come out in April.
Appleblim and Second Storey will release an album as ALSO on April 6th.
R&S Records will issue the LP, which pulls together tracks from the duo's three EPs for the long-running label. (The third EP isn't out yet—it'll land on March 5th.) "There are so many people making sonically 'correct' or refined 4x4 music," says Appleblim, real name Laurie Osborne. "We just wanted to explore everything other than that, whilst still keeping the dance floor moving." R&S say the album draws inspiration from R&S artists like Aphex Twin and Blawan as well as Detroit figures like Carl Craig and Juan Atkins.
