The synth pop group will travel stateside in March.
Stockholm trio Lust For Youth has announced a 15-date US and Canadian tour, beginning March 5th in Iowa.
The band will play a string of University gigs in the midwest, beginning at Grinnell College in Iowa and the University Of Wisconsin before embarking on more traditional club dates. On March 7th, they're at the Empty Bottle in Chicago. Following the Windy City show, they'll make a stop at the UFO Factory in Detroit, before undertaking a pair of Canadian dates. They'll play a couple of New York gigs and a Philly show before heading down to SXSW, where they're booked on a Sacred Bones showcase with labelmates Pharmakon and Moon Duo on March 19th. After the Austin festival they'll meet up with Downwards US band Marshstepper for a West Coast leg. The Ascetic House mainstays will join for gigs in Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
On their 2014 LP International, Lust For Youth embraced a poppier sound which stands in contrast to earlier, more insular material. RA's Andrew Ryce profiled the band back in June— check out the feature here.
