Gay Marvine to play Cub Scout's fifth anniversary in LA

- Gay Marvine will headline Cub Scout's five year anniversary at Eagle LA on March 6th. The long-running gay dance party is the brainchild of LA jocks Chris Bowen and Victor Rodriguez. The disco and house affair has been a regular stop for Daniel Wang and has also played host to Lady Blacktronika and Cole Medina in previous iterations. Cub Scout events are known for raucous good vibes and occasionally, a surprise or two. Last fall DJ Havey popped into Cub Scout's sister event Bears In Space for a surprise set. Gay Marvine, real name Chuck Hampton, has been an underground Ann Arbor/Detroit DJ since the '90s. In 2010, he's began releasing edits of party favorites like Yello, Sylvester and Diana Ross on the Bath House Etiquette label.
