The San Diego weekender will throw club shows with James Murphy, Pete Tong and Seth Troxler.
CRSSD will throw a series of official afterparties during their first festival in San Diego next weekend, beginning with a opening bash headlined by James Murphy.
The first CRSSD festival will take place at San Diego's Waterfront Park next weekend. The outdoor event, presented by FNGRS CRSSD and Goldenvoice, will offer a healthy "after dark" component, running up to three parties an evening at various San Diego nightspots. On Friday, James Murphy will have the chance to stretch out—the LCD Soundsystem star is the only DJ on the bill at Bang Bang. All Gone Pete Tong takes to the seas Saturday—he'll serve as musical captain of Hornblower Yachts. Saturday also has Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus at Bang Bang, and the LA resident will be following up a live performance at the festival proper.
Sunday is the busiest off-festival night. Seth Troxler will be joined by Robert Dietz at Spin. Elsewhere, Chromeo will spin '80s electro-funk at Fluxx and Mad Decent's Trippy Turtle is on at Bang Bang. For those who don't get their fill over the course of the weekend, FNGRS CRSSD will bring in Bicep for an official decompression party on Thursday, March 19th.
